Huttonsville, WV – Valley Independent Baptist Church (VIBC) is excited to bring a 9-week financial program to our community to help individuals and families take control of their finances. Financial Peace University (FPU) is a course designed to teach money management skills rooted in biblical principles.
The free 9-week classes will begin on Sunday, March 2 from 6:00-7:30 PM with the final session ending on April 27th.
FPU is a video-based series led by Dave Ramsey, a renowned money management expert and author of The Total Money Makeover.
Dave Ramsey speaks on the importance of getting out of debt, avoiding financial pitfalls, and learning how to honor God through wise financial stewardship. This program provides valuable lessons on saving money, reducing debt, and making sound financial decisions.
The program will cover essential financial topics, including budgeting, saving for emergencies, managing money in relationships, making major purchases, eliminating debt, investing, insurance, retirement planning, real estate mortgages, and career decisions.

We have always wanted to bring this program to our church members and community, and through the commitment of Jason and Jeri Luby, members of our church, we are now able to make it available.
